LIKE. SHARE. SUBSCRIBE. 4/5. This is one of my favorite films. I'm glad it is, because the core team behind this has been tasked to direct a sequel to my favorite film. Blade Runner. But even if they weren't about to embark on that task, Sicario is one of the best thrillers of the year, this is a mixture of Captain Phillips and Traffic rolled into one. The cinematography grabs earthy tones of Mexico and the bureaucracy of the USA. Brilliant stuff by Villenueve and Deakins. Starring Emily Blunt, Josh Brolin and Benicio Del Toro, who are all in top form. Sicario is a must see film as it kicks off the Oscar season with a bang.
